The Deep Enders audiobook is out now (Audible and Google Play) and will also be distributed in US libraries through Hoopla.
It took me ages to get around to this project and, then once I’d started, it took far too long to finish! I chose to narrate the book myself to capture the Aussie vernacular and emphasise elements that really mattered to the story. We have all the recording equipment & studio thanks to our YouTube channel … but boy oh boy was it a LOT of work!
Anyway it’s all finished now & it turned out great. The most satisfying part was seeing my 9-yo son listen to The Deep Enders for the first time over the course of a week, getting swept up as the tale unfolded. (He’s now a fan).
